Nice job, Jeremy

Jeremy emailed me a PM the other day saying that he had written an article on his adventure to the Smithsonian. The article is on page 34 of Numismatic News, issue: 9/28/04.

Well written article. Congratulations.

Oh, by the way the SI is looking for one of their 1804 silver dollars..............image

    I agree.

I also think it's fantastic that the SI allowed Jeremy (and others image ) to help out. "Fun", "historic", and "mind-blowing" are all insufficient adjectives to describe the time we spent there. I'd call it "surreal"!

No actually that's what happened the next day when he visited the Air and Space Museum. I heard he tried to cut a piece from the Wright Brother's Flyer as a momento of his trip!

I've got connections image Seriously, though, I owe the opportunity to Andy Lustig (MrEureka) and Jim Hughes of the Smithsonian.

  • I don't know if you are aware of it Jeremy but this is something you will be able to pass along to your kids and grand kids. You are moving in all the right crowds and making a name for yourself in the numistamatic field. You should be very proud of yourself. I know I am very proud of you as I'm sure most on this board! Keep up the good work!!!image
