Why do foreign collectors pay such premiums for Anfernee Hardaway cards?

Anfernee SPX /25 sells for 150.50

There have been many other high end rubies, metal gems, and other low #ed cards of his sell for much more.

My question is.... why???

Same reason they pay big $$$ for Pippen cards....they like players from that time period (when those guys were stars). I sold some Pippen card with his jersey number for a couple hundred dollars. They also like Shareef, Rasheed Wallace, Reggie Miller etc....Pippen is the one they go nuts over...buyers from Asia as well as Australia.

But what makes them like certain players but not others? O'neal was good then, so was Dominique, Drexler...

Do they realize they are paying a little too much and after they buy them, what do they do with them..

I've considered collecting a rare 1997 Finest Embossed Refractor #/74 set. I bought the Garnett, Webber, Mutombo, Kittles, Howard for reasonable prices..when I saw a Hardaway end at nearly $300, I almost flipped out and that was the end of that idea.

It has to do with clandestine cloning.

Yao Ming is really Tree Rollins genetically, birthed by a chinese mother.

You will be seeing Pippen again.

    Loves me some shiny!
