Eagle coins? Are they mostly silver?


What is the going rate for them? What's the most I should reasonably expect to pay?

They are 1 oz pure silver. Neat if you wana collect bullion. A fair price would be a bout 8 bucks each, but expect to pay about 9! You can save a little if you buy em in bulk! Pretty much every collector has at least one lying around! I like em!

Most everybody does like them. They vary in price by date also. 2004 $8.70. 1996 $37.75. This was out of an ad and doesn't include shipping which is $4. Someone mentioned buying bulk. Same ad, 2004 buy 100 coins at $855 or a sealed box of 500 at $4250 and the shipping is free.

I have 2 complete MS-69 slabbed sets, 2 raw MS sets, 1 complete Proof set (minus the 95W), not to mention a few extra SAEs. They are beautiful coins and real easy to get a complete set in MS-69. If you think of getting an MS-70, expect to pay 4 grand or more that's IF you can find one for sale. I think there are only 14 MS-70s (PCGS) in the entire run of the series (1986 to present).

I like the eagles.

Good and affordable set to collect, even if it is bullion.

I have had a whole set stolen from me, so they are even popular with theives.

Yes they are. They only made 3.6 million of them that year.
