Austrian thaler info source wanted

Does anybody have a pointer to a website with info about 18'th century Austrian Thalers? How about one for Great Britain coins of the 16'th through 18'th centuries? I guess I should buy books, but the few I've seen are expensive Does anybody have any inexpensive, used references they want to sell to me?

Here's a site on the Maria Theresa Thaler. They were first struck by Austria and portray the
empress of that name who reigned 1740-80. The coin was used as an unofficial trade dollar in Africa and
the Near East and nearly a billion were restruck with the same date by many world mints. It
contains about 3/4 of an ounce of silver and may be worth about $5-$6 if uncirculated. You
might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, pricing

Thanks for the pointer to that website on the Maria Theresa thalers. I was able to use the restrike information to exactly identify where the Maria Theresa thalers I had were minted (Paris). However I am looking for information on other thalers now.

I may buy one of those books CIVITAS, but wish I had the information right now. I guess I'm spoiled by the Internet. I want my info NOW!

It looks to me like there is a need for a good website or two!
