If you don't mind me asking, what was the named of the person who signed the pouch.. Would be fun to keep a
running log of all those who signed the pouches to see how many different people signed them...

Way ahead of the Oct. 25th ship date announced by The US Mint. Makes me wonder if they announced the original ship date with the intention of shipping these out a full month in advance to avoid all those cancellations like they received with the L & C Coin and Currency sets. Ya think??? Anybody else get theirs or receive notification of shipping?

Me thinks they made a typo and put down October 25th instead of September 25th?

I placed an order for six as soon as they came on line and a few hours later I ordered four more. The first six arrived but the others did not. A couple of the pouches have a VERY strong leather smell and I am sure these will tone the coins- this could be the big thing in toning in a few years. I think all of the pouches I have are different names on the tags. mike

According to the US Mint's web site, they are still available but won't ship until next month.
"Product will be available for shipping 10/25/2004."

Glad you got your coin(s) early from the mint.....However, at the price they are charging for the pouch vs the regular issues, don't you think that's kinda high and what kind of after market will they have????? IE: pouched vs unpouched.................go figga

These things will either sell out and be worth more shortly or they will go over really badly and be worth multiples in a dozen years. The pouches really are kind of nice. mike
