Maybe some of you folks could post your favorite dealers for world coins? Plus, Krause guide quest

I'm sure that would be useful information for a number of people, myself included!

So, they do it by century? Are there Krause guides for other centuries?
There isn't one book that covers...well, the whole world for all of history? I guess that might be a tall order
PS: The Amazon page says this edition hasn't been released yet? Have the coins of the nineteenth century changed since the last edition?
The '96 edition was the last where the 19th and 20th centuries were combined. It was getting a bit heavy to carry around, and they could make more money from selling separate volumes, so now there's a distinct volume for the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th (& 21st) centuries. There are other volumes specializing in particular countries like Great Britain and Germany that cover the whole timespan in them.

They contain all, or at least most, countries in each edition. The catalogues are NOT light.

Even all these books, can't accomplish that!

I have well over 200 coin books and all of them put together still don't cover everything!

Hey, we don't want to hear about your personal problems!
One of my favorites is Jim Hanna from Wilsonville, OR. He puts out 4 or 5 price lists a year, but no website. I've gotten some of my best coins from him. Hopefully, I'll have a few new ones to post in a week or so.

For coins before 1600 there are Sayleses, Davenports, Saurmas, Griersons and many others. Somebody a while ago posted this link and this second link. Also, if you look at professionally produced price lists (e.g. Karl Stephens) the dealers indicate what references they use to identify their coins.
My suggestion is to focus on german states and forget everything else
