My 6-coin Morgan submission was received on July 23... that makes today day number 62.
Then again, they're crossovers, which I'm convinced take longer than raw coins.

When in doubt, don't.

And when it was received turnaround was listed as 70 days. You have eight more days to go.

This is a tough submitter month. There were two blackout periods. I sent 3 moderns in on 9-2 that got checked in 9-8, which is reasonable considering there was a weekend in-between. I used the $30 15 day service instead of modern because I didn't want to wait. Based on 15 business days, and the upcoming show, my grades are guaranteed to post 10-12 (34 days). If I sent them in on 10-12 instead of 9-2, it would take 20 calendar days. Since PCGS keeps a few modern graders home during the shows, I probably would have done just as well to use the modern tier ($12 each). I figure I'd have gotten them on 10-18 using modern and saved $50. Next time I'll look more closely at the blackout calendar
and it sets us apart from practitioners and consultants. Gregor
The date I submitted them and the turnaround time in play at that time is a cop-out excuse PCGS uses to keep us dangling like puppets on a string. If we turn coins in now and turnaround time changes along the way, they hit us with "45 days may have been what it was when you submitted them, but now it's more."
Bottom line is, since there's no turnaround guarantee on Economy, they could just as well tell us it's 10 days... or 100.
