Any good coin shops in Las Vegas?

I will be in Vegas this weekend Friday - Sunday. Are there any decent coin shops worth visiting? My time is flexibile but Saturday would work out best.

    Sahara.

    Say hi to Rob.
The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

    Got quoins?
  • Tell me about Sahara. Do they specialize in anything? How far from the strip?

  • Yeah I would imagine Morgns and Peace dollars....Carson City in the Northern Part of the state...
  • Send a PM to kyleknap, he lives there and knows his stuff. He could probably help you a lot.
  • Sahara coins has the biggest coin selection I've seen, ever. I also think it's the biggest coin store in vegas. It's right next to Einsteins bagels. I went there not to long ago, and purchased a 1908 raw $5 indian AU-55 for $244. Kinda pricy, but I sent it to ANACS and they graded it AU-58 image

One of their employees worked at PCGS once, I've heard.

check out the magic shop in the forum shops in caesars palace.
    its by the moving statues.
they,ll have all your cool coin tricks.
last cool trick i got there was levatating small objects like: an ordinary dime,
    a playing card or
    credit card.
so,when making a purchase with your credit card you can pull it out, setting up your trick, and
    say,
`okay i can pay,but first let me float myself a load`, where you proceed to suspend your
spinning credit card between your hands in mid air.
    looks great.

I tried it too. Don`t think about tring it in the summer or without planning to walk several hours. On the strip, take the 301 bus ( a $1.50 if I remember right and $2.50 for the 302 express ) to Sahara Blvd. The Sahara is right on or near the corner of The Strip and The Sahara Blvd. Then take that west ( I`m sure it`s west of the strip. look up to make sure. )past I-10. I don`t know the connecting line that takes you past the Interstate but, it`s located on the otherside of it when compared to The Strip. It`s a few miles from the strip. Either that or a cab or rental car.

Sahara Blvd is north of The Stardust, Caesars Palace, The Paris, and The Flamingo. It`s south of Fremont, Binnions Horseshoe, and Gold Nugget ( This place has " Vegas Vic ". The cowboy with neon lights and points to himself with his thumb. " Vegas Vicki " is right across the street. )

I never made it there when I was in Vegas and I wish I did with what I`ve heard about it.
