This seems like a good time to ask what the +1 or -1 things mean that I keep seeing in various threads...... image

  • No, but I sold a horse to buy a cow that I sold the milk from to buy a coin.

The +1 indicates that bandwidth has been wasted in order to increase a persons post count.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

  • But, what if I sold a coin to buy a house
then sold the house to get a coin.
I then traded the coin for a horse
I then got the horse for the cost of a house?

darn, sounds too much like being married

  • Yeah, I sold an 1804 proof set to buy a horse once. I had to. It had holes in it. (The proof set, not the horse) image

A horse is a horse of course of course,
and no one can talk to a horse of course.
That is of coarse unless the horse
    Is the famous Mister Ed!

Go right to the source and ask the horse.
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse
He's always on a steady course.
    Talk to Mister Ed!

    People yakkity-yak a streak
And waste your time of day,
but Mister Ed will never speak
Unless he has something to say!

A horse is a horse of course of course,
And this one'll talk 'til his voice is hoarse.
You never heard of a talking horse?
    Well, listen to this...

    "I am Mister Ed!"
