Does anyone know the past coin market trends by year or period?

For example, I am looking for a response, beginning in, say, 1985, such as:
1985-1989: bear coin market
1990-1995: bull coin market
1995-1998: stagnant market, etc., etc.
Maybe we can define bear as greater than 10% reduction in market prices, bull as greater than 10% increase in market prices, and stagnant as 0-10% change. Any thoughts? I know that each coin series moves independently (i.e., if one is in a bear cycle, another might be in a bull cycle), but I am just looking for generalities.
