Why not more 19th century registries?

I would like to see a greater proliferation of the PCGS Registry concept. I would like to see it expanded, especially in the 19th century series. Why is it that one cannot email BJ and request a registry for "San Francisco seated quarters" and voila, it is available the next day (or week)? I do not (obviously) understand the technology considerations and the manpower issues involved. I think that if there were more such registries, there would be more interest in the classic series, which would seem to benefit both the hobby and the industry.
Two series that I collect: Dahlonega $5's and New Orleans No Motto $10's are registry-inelligible. There are quite a few collectors of Dahlonega $5's and more than a handful of collectors of New Orleans $10's. These are just examples.
Finally, and apologies for the rambling question, would it be possible to enable the system for a "make your own" or custom registry? The collector somehow is able to answer a series of questions and the registry is interactively created before his/her eyes?
Thank you for entertaining the question.

Hi Robert,
The Set Registry is time consuming and labor intense for us. We are putting up numerous new sets on a consistent basis. We'll get to the "variations on a theme" eventually. Just send BJ your requests...and if they make sense, we'll get to them eventually.
Thanks,
David
