Is that an "FS" below Jefferson's bust on the 1959 Jefferson Nickel on this Littleton ad when that wasn't put on until 1966? Me thinks that they took a later date Jefferson Nickel, edited the photo so it would read 1959 and not the more modern date one, and forgot to edit out the "FS" below Jefferson's bust. Yeah, I know I posted this before but I thought I should bring this back to light.

It's probably a doctored photo. They may have been featuring a nice 1959 piece but didn't have a good photo available so they altered the date on a pic of a later coin.

Hmm. A sharp-eyed YN just taught me something. Interesting. I didn't know that, or if I did, I'd forgotten it. My mind is probably almost as cluttered as my workspace.
