It'd be raining 68D Kennedy's

At this evening's auction I met our friend FIVECENTS who had just received a number of 68D halves back from PCGS - He was gracious enough to let me have the pick of the litter and these are the three that I chose. Two are MS66's and one is an MS65. All of them sport a rich coppery tone with blue highlights when you hold the coins under an intense light. All the coins are endroll toned, so the reverses are all blast white. I thought I'd post these so STMAN wouldn't think that Im falling down on the job

Nice. I have a 68D in an MS66 holder that is toned like those.

Those are the type that I would like to have in my birthyear set....but, some dog beat me to MadMarty's that he posted last week and now has these.

If it starts raining 68-D Kennedy halves, remind me to take shelter in a very sturdy building, and park our vehicles in a garage or bunker. Ow!

My favorite of the three is the 1st one. It has some real dramatic green and gold patterns. You gotta love how those paper coin rolls can tone the end of roll coins.
