My pride and joy is my 81-CC in 64, and she is STILL 3 grades below this one!
Edited to add: I think he does this just for the publicity. I doubt if anyone would spend in excess of $1M on an eBay auction without meeting the seller and making the exchange in person.

<< <i>I was just thinking how mine compare to this ultimate set (all PCGS certified unless noted): >>
Just take the cert numbers from his auction listing and you'll shoot up in no time

Is shipping extra? Or is included?
Eric: I totally agree with your above quote...
And I like the cameo contrasting devices contrasting with the semi-PL fields on your 1882-CC. That's a very nice high eye appealing MS-64 looks better than most standard MS-65's with no "pop" to them... A pretty Coin!!
Did you purchase that coin raw and subsequently have it slabbed, or is it still raw as in the photo?

Why is there a picture of himself in the auction listing?

<< <i>I think too many people get caught up in this supergrade snobbery. A 64, or a 64PL CC Morgan can be a very nice coin with minimal marks. A 67 will have less marks, but I have always gone by the "pop" a coin has, even if it has a few more marks than I would like. For example, this 1882-CC MS64PL in my set. I have no desire to upgrade to a 65 or 66, this coin suits me just fine. >>
i don't need to upgrade my stuff. i'm happy to have what i have
Edited to add.. Eric that is a awful purdy 1882CC!!

I bought that coin a couple of years ago from a seller on eBay. He goofed and did not mention in the title that it was a PL. His images were awful, so I took a chance. I got the coin for $136, and as you can see I got a beauty. It's a PCGS MS64PL. I don't use the holder in my images so I can get the largest physical size and stay within the PCGS set registry limit of 100k for images.
