My reasons are different.
Reasons NOT to put a whole set together:
Overall prices or some key date prices are just not within my reach.
I find the series ugly or undesireable
Reasons TO put a whole set together:
There is nothing like opening an album full of BU beauties!!
The non-key dates, even in modern sets are still a challenge if you shoot for nice higher grade examples.
You don't finish up your wish/wants list too quickly.
Ya just can't get enough coins and an album with a load of empty holes is the perfect excuse to buy more!
