Washington Quarters

I've never really gotten "into" the whole Washington quarter thing. However, recently I've found myself mezmerised at the wide open expanse of fields the coin has on the obverse. When blast white this looks really cool! Just bid on my first high end Washer' image With sweet fields I might add.

The Washington quarter may not be high art but it does have its charms. It's a shame
that it's so tough to find examples with the periphery lettering well struck.

I know what you mean. But I have also started taking a liking to some of the tones ones as well. Not all mind you. Some of the toned ones I think are just plain ugly.
