Maybe not in all instances. This was the first ACC certified coin that I have ever seen. I purchased it for the toning and cracked it out and sent it to PCGS and it came back the same grade.

I don't know if they do or not. I purchased it from this seller who seems to sell a lot of them:

I'm thinking that the seller might be "ACC". I'm certainly not suggesting that everyone run out and buy from this guy, I'm just showing the nickel that I had that crossed over the same grade.

<< <i>Maybe it is the picture but that coin looks hideous. It looks lack-luster and the toning specs don't help. I'm surprised PCGS went 67 on this.....do you have a picture of this in the PCGS slab?

<< <i>VERY Cool Jason!! Me likes the color... it's different... but somehow attracting... I like how Jeff tones in different ways from other coins... Especially proofs that have one color devices, another color in the field... like gold devices and purple fields! >>
Thanks, I like it too. You know, I have never really thought about all of the different colors that Jefferson tone. I know for a fact that I have seen Jeffersons in many different colors and if I sit here and think of other series of coins, I don't think that I have seen any that compare to the different colors that you can find Jeffersons in. I'm not saying that this is fact, it's just been my experience ...... and I don't get out much so that's not saying much
You're forgetting that all the major grading services totally ignore luster. I wonder how many excellent examples we need before this is widely accepted?
