Hello All - I have a PCGS Grading Question

I have a couple of Geo III guineas that look a nice XF to me and I would like to have them authenticated and graded.

However, many (if perhaps not all) of my 200+ year old gold coins may have been cleaned at one time - if even 100 years ago!

My question is this: Will PCGS body-bag these older foreign gold coins? Will they at least authenticate them, or does the inclusion into the 'body-bag' for "cleaning" mean that they stop the analysis right there?

Anyone know *for sure*? Thanks.

We cut a little slack on the really old coins. We'll body bag them if the cleaning is harse. If the cleaning is light, it will be a negative and the grade will be a little lower.

    Thanks,

    David
