Why would that 23 Peace demand a premium, other than a couple extra bucks for toning ? Am I missing something here ? Mintage of over 30 million !! image

Probably because its an NGC Pop 36/0 MS67. CU price guide is $5250, Heritage value index is $3000-$3700 and the last two sales of untoned NGC graded coins in Heritage Auctions went for $2990 in May and $3220 in June.

Thanks for the information. There wasn't a link or any reason why in the post. I should have done research before posting. Wonder how many more MS-67's are out there ? image

PCGS has certified somewhere around 175 MS 67s for the entire SERIES. I believe ONE coin has been called a 68, but im not exactly sure.

Some of them (the 25S for example) have never been graded above 65.

WHAT??? Is it priced over greysheet? No WAY...... Seriously, I believe this Peace$ is priced very fair. And for the nice look of it the right buyer would probably pay more.

I CAN comment on how nice this coin is as I bought this from Pinnacle and sold it back to them for personal reasons. In person I felt the colors were much more vibrant and more color than the image shows with very nice luster and eye-appeal.

BTW, Mark Feld sold this to me when he worked for Pinnacle and bought it back for a very STRONG price. Just thought I'd give some information since I have on hands experience with this piece.
