Dear Mr. Hall,
I am enclosing a link to an article I think you might want to see, about the problem of wood corroding metal - and how to deal with it. There are many papers online about this topic - it is well known to conservators. I do hope you understand I am trying to help by raising this issue - I think these boxes could endanger the coins we all love so much. Please do let us the Forum know when we can expect the results of the accelerated tests to be made known - and the condition of the testing.
