1964 10c MS65 W.......Whats the W for?

I have this coin in a NGC holder . I was trying to put it in my Heritage collection , but could not find the W designation in the Heritage list. I then looked in the PCGS population report and only saw a 1996 listed with the W. Does any one know what it is?

Thanks Russ. Is it that rare that PCGS only has the on ein the pop report? With my luck I bet its no big deal .

The 1996-W is for the West Point Mint, where special 50th anniversary dimes were struck for inclusion in the 1996 mint sets. No other dime has the W mint mark... for that matter, only bullion pieces, and a few commems, are made in West Point.

Oh, PCGS doesn't note W on their holders, and NGC no longer does (they stopped a year or so ago). The W is simply a modifier for the grade, such as FB. It's basically meaningless, though, and shouldn't have any bearing on the price.
