Some may not know, but the Babe's father owned a bar.....were it still there today, it would be located in center field at Camden Yards. This is true.

Also little known fact.....in 1922 Smellthis's grandfather walked into the bar with a monkey on his head........................

I know babe was an orphan, but I don't know the story. does anyone here know it? Was he abandoned, did his parents die, dies they get divored, or the father keft and the mother put him in the orphanage? It would be interesting to find out. Did he have any sons?
