Monster Toned 1955-D Roosie PCGS MS67 FB (pics Added)

Picked up a monster toned 1955-D Dime today in PCGS MS67 FB at the ILNA show.

Pic tomorrow.

Coin has MS68 looks and luster but a few super minor ticks keep it from ever making 68.

Not the best of scans, but a realy cool coin!

I don't have the patience for this set.

I made a 64-D in 68 years ago. I also owned the 59-P in 68 and a few of the "S" mint's in 68, so I guess I could have had a decent set, but it takes too much hunting.

When I find a nice one, I buy it! When the right offer comes around, I sell it!

No need to worry about me catching anyone here.

Nope. Bought it 10-12 years ago from TT.

Coin had a very yellow color to it. Bright yellow as I recall. Couldn't even start to tell you about the bands.

I don't even remeber where I sold the coin, but it was around $400 if I recall correctly.

Yep...........that 59P has ALWAYS been a coin of some speculation to me.......I kinda figured the coin was a mislabeled Proof....really cool to have someone be able toverify the coin did (does) really exist! Perhaps someday, it will come back out of the woodwork......
