Well, always looking for help it seems, But, can anyone identify this coin, I got it in 1974, from a kid in my 9th. grade class, i'm sure its cleaned, Traded if for a 1935 Walker, in poor shape, but, he claimed his grandfather was an archeologist, and it was from Pompei, I don't think it is, but, can anyone tell what the writing on the reverse, says? had a collector look at it, he said it was from about the time of Christ, and offered me 40.00 for it. Think maybe two fools met? probably should have taken the money, but, it was one of my first ancients.
