neg feedback question

would you leave neg feedback for a $15 non-paying bidder? i've contacted more than once and was told "check is in the mail". auction ended over 1 month ago.

Thanks,

David (LD_Ferg)

If the seller left you positive feedback already then sure do it.. If he didn't then don't 9 times out of 10 the pr!cky seller who held back giving you positive feedback will give you negative if you left him negative.

You just have to decide whether a retaliatory neg is worth $15 bucks.. =(

I would not bother with the neg. Let it go 45 days and then send a message stating you summize there must be some type of problem, and you are letting him off the hook on the purchase. I beleive you can file a NPB refund for your auction at 45 days. If it were a larger amount, I would have a different opinion. Regards.

If your feedback is over 500, the retaliatory neg won't hurt you as your neg will hurt him. It is your duty to let other sellers know that this guy is a loser. That is what the whole feedback process is there for.
Don't NEG him now, NEG him right now !!

  • This is why the feedback system on ebay is a joke. People are afraid to leave a negative because they will get one back. You could end up having someone with over a thousand positives, with only negative, but should have 10, 20, 30 etc negatives. Then, when you get someone that leaves a negative to every person that they had a bad experience with you guys call this person an expletive. I think ebay should revamp the feedback system and give you more than a few characters to explain what happened. With the percentage feedback now, I'm sure a lot of people that are at 100% want to stay there, so they don't leave any negatives for non paying bidders. These non payers then turn around and do it to more people. If the sellers could see they have multiple negatives for this, then they can block the bidder and prevent new problems. Just my 2 rubles.

neg has been left. i'll take the neg reply...my other feedback should show potential buyers how i operate.

besides, the guy was a NPB on 5 auctions (totaling $20~) and i only left neg on 1 of the auctions.

    thanks for your input.

    Thanks,
