Looking for a 1927-d Saint!

So here I am. An incomplete set......Anyone know the whereabouts of a 1927-d I can use to finish my set? That is besides the one that was at Long Beach owned by Rare Coin Wholesalers at $2 million!

I think I am going to wait until they discover that bag that must exist somewhere. Anybody know where it is?

Somehow........I feel incomplete......

My $20 Saint set

jpkinta: The 1927-D defines the word "stopper" very well indeed!

Now, isn't it true that no matter how well you upgrade the rest of your set as if you haven't done enough already that the magic of it all is that 1927-D?

You see, I was smart! I didn't even try to do a whole set of these!

So now you have an incentive to save loads of $$.

By the way, your 1921, 1925, 1931 and 1932 must all be awesome. Any pics and all?

I have a picture of my $10 1933 but none of the others. I am not as computer literate as Saintguru who has put some of his coins on this message board. I am probably going to have PCGS photo them when I resubmit the set so they will be up there permanently.....

I think I am going to wait for the discovery of the bag of 27-d's!

How many bags do you want?

  • If you ever get the 27D, there will still be that empty hole for the 1933! (unless you're the guy who bought the 1933 a year or two ago!)

Edited: Maybe the bag of 27Ds is with the bag of 1895 Philadelphia business strike Morgans and the bag of 1964D Peace dollars.
