I know the pics are definetely dark.. I was trying to enhance the pics on My own to see
the Reverse looks real.. I just can't see the Obverse good enough,...

Remember, the title said COMMEMORATIVE, not that it was a real gold coin. Most likely this is a bronze struck by a private mint, judging by the dark brown color. The bidder will be in for a shock if he thinks he's getting real gold for less than $60 bucks. Let's keep watching this one and see if the seller gets negged.

Like I said, the title says Commemorative (even though it's mis-spelled) and he mentions the size as being 3" and anyone who knows double eagles knows this is not the actual size. Even a newb would have access to that info if they bothered to pick up a coin magazine or did a web search. I think the buyer didn't do enough research into this first and shouldn't blame the seller since he did not claim it was real gold he was selling. Who knows? Maybe the buyer knew this was a repro, and bought it anyway.
