Has anyone used this grading assistant program?

Looked interesting. Some coins I have no problem comming close to the grade, but some I have no clue.
Any opinions on this?

  • I have it. Whats cool is you can take photos of your coins and they show up in between the other two grades so you can compare them side by side. I am trying to get better with my grading and this along with the Photograde grade book are what i am using to learn with.

  • I like that. I'll keep an eye out for it the next time someone lists one for sale.

How are the software photographs? Are they pretty clear or lousy pics.

    Thanks

The ANA sells that software, $45 to members.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • I have it too. The pics are very disappointing. Even the circulated pictures are just average quality. $45 is a high price. The software is not exactly elegant. Kind of clunky. However I still like it. It's decent for grading circulated coins. It's like an electronic version of Photograde. Very handy if you're working on a type set with several different series to grade.
