Yahoo auction & my bid disappeared. What the?!

Perhaps someone can explain/give insight.
I bid on a nice coin on Yahoo auctions. The auction should've closed yesterday. Now, the auction is nowhere to found, my bid is gone from my bid history/watching/etc. Never got an email that auction was cancelled, even though that's all set ok in my preferences.
