Water spots on my proof set

I just got my silver proof set from the mint yesterday. I noticed on the Sac dollar, there appears to be a lot of water spots. Did anyone else run into this, and if so, will the mint replace the set? If so, how difficult is that process? Thanks.

  • I've never returned one myself, but there is a packing slip that comes with it where you can return if you're not safisfied with it. I think there are options on the slip where you can indicate whether you want a refund or replacement. From some of the posts I've read here, be prepared to wait. image
  • I do not know for sure but I doubt the mint will replace the set because of water spots. Unfortunately I think that as long as the coins received are what you ordered you will not get a replacement set. That is just my two cents and no experience speaking.

    Thank you

You can return it for any reason if you are unsatisfied with the product you receive.
