    Hey Lucy, there are three that are nice catches! The 68 and 69 in 69DC and especially the 67 SMS in DCAM. Those SMS DCAM's are VERY hard to come by. That's why I'm holding onto my SMS Kennedys in DCAMs, even as I upgrade. A 65 DCAM from the SMS series is still are rare and beautiful coin. Since they had no proof coins from 65-67, they didn't really prepare the dies enough like the proof coins. The DCAMS are only the first few and to have a DCAM on both sides is rare. I have several that are DCAMs on one side and not the other. R&I has a great book out on the cameo coins that oyu should get if you don't have it yet. They have fantastic photos of your bald man in all stages of cameo and deep cameo. They also show the potential for scarcity and relative rarity for condition of all the coins in proof from 1950(your decade) thru 1970. Madmarty: Good catch.     Good job! Those are great grades on the '67-'69 nickels, especially the SMS coin. I like all SMS coins in DCAM or Ultra cam.

    I just finished reading "How to Turn Pocket Change into a Small Fortune" by M. Kuklinski. After reading this, I've decided to abandon my previous venture of buying real estate with no money down. This Kuklinski kid seems to have a knack for turning silver into gold.

    I'm guessing maybe those 68-d Kennedy's are toners. I picked up cool orange job 68-D around here a

    while back and I recall the dealer had several more similar. Mine only got a 65 also, but is a real looker!

    It seems to me that those aren't a bad little score either. I'm thinking $200 or so on the 1968 and about $350 on the 1969.
