I don't have a clue as to what the total mintage is of the 2004 cents. However the PCGS Pop for the 2004-D in MS68RD is 10 pcs with (0) higher. (not counting my coin) The 2004-P in MS68RD is 28 pcs with (3) in MS69RD.

It seems that the 2004-D is a tough coin. As for the price,,,,,,not sure yet.

No, I think most people who send in coins to PCGS can tell the difference between a MS64RD & a MS67RD. Why would you send in a MS64 coin?

There is a difference between a low population "TOP POP"Coin and a low population low end coin.
