Gosh, Dang! What do you think...should I stick to full red Lincolns (ms64) or buy some 65rb's?

I'm down to only 5 dates not full red, 14-d,21-s,24-s,25-s,26-s. And just when I even started to plan to try to get 4 of those 5 in full red too (all but 26-s), I'm now thinking about buying some 65rb's of dates I already had a 64rd of, making my set less red rather than more red. What do you think?

Edited to add: I guess I should learn to read. 64RD vs 65RB. I guess go for the ones with the greater eye appeal. I agree that there are many 65RB's that look a whole lot nicer than many 64RD's. Although if the goal is a 100% red set & you're only 5 coins away, I'd "stay the course".

In general, I would stay red. However, there are some very pretty coins out there that are in RB holders that would certainly be a better bet. Fill it out coin by coin.

I think that's the key statement. Number one - buy what you like. Number two - if you can find 65RB coins that are on the cusp of red at a price commensurate [or less] to the quality, then why not?
The grading services very often have coins that are liners as far as grade and liners as far as color. They'll give the benefit of the doubt to one or the other but not both. So a 65RB could be very similar to a 64RD on any given day....and the grade is always just a starting point. I could see doing a set with 65RB's that are nicer to my eye but cheaper because of the 'red snob attitude' [ ]. Wouldn't that be a grand thing?

Great... See I even have someone to sell my duplicate 64rd's too!
