Does anyone know how to calm Homer down at auctionsniper.com ?

When you go there an have some wins, they play a loud wav file with Homer Simpson shouting "YESSSS"

Does anyone know how to disable this annoying feature?

I don't use Auction Sniper but there should be a way you can disable it when you go to the Profile or Customize page.

Click the "My Snipes" Tab. Then click the "Modify Account" link below on the far left. Then scroll down to the 3rd section entitled "Preferences". Then go down to the 6th heading in that section called "Sound Alerts". Then clear the check box that says "When I win an auction, play this sound".

Alternatively you can add a different sound as well by entering the location of another .wav file. Hope that was what you were asking for.

I haven't heard the wav file, but why not just turn the volume down?

Most computers and/or speakers have a mute button built right in, but in any case you can click on the volume icon in the system tray too. I've never heard the Homer WAV.

If you haven't heard it, just follow RBinTex's instructions and you can turn it on (you can have it play your own wav file too).
