I LOVE the Darkside ![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif)
All these, plus three others that just don't photograph well, were less than $80.
The '63 is Prooflike; the Lucky Loonie '04 is Proof; rest are mostly pretty nice MS except the tiny rim "hits" on the '58.

Juices flow, research in the new area broadens your numismatic horizons and it can generate a strong re-kindling of interest in areas where you had stopped actively collecting.
You've got some beauties there-keep posting your new acquisitions.

Love that ship coin!!
I hope to get some in a few weeks at the coin show here in Albuquerque.
Thanks, Goldrush
I think you posted a pic of your '58 recently, didn't you? If so, THAT was the post that got me looking at Canadian dollars. I love that Totem Pole. And, yeah, I do like that ship on the '49

My omnicoin collection (or how my coin photography has progressed)
The early coins in the dollar set, starting at 1935 are not too hard to come by at a good price but when you hit the 1945 - through 1948 , they go through the roof.
I'll attach my 49 if you want to take a look at it.

<< <i>Very interesting series. How far back does the series go?

I just started this, so I may be wrong, but according to Krause '05 20th Century, they started in 1935. I don't have the 19th Century Krause yet, so I don't know about any earlier.

Welcome to the greyside! Nice dollars.
Canada made 80% silver dollars from 1935-1939 and 1945-1967. They made 100% nickel dollars from 1968 - 1986. Since then they have made the twelve sided nickel bronze dollars. They did make a pattern dollar dated 1911, but only two exist. The Canadian government has one and a Canadian dealer owns the other (since one of our fellow board members sold it last year).
