Misleading Auctions?

Was doing my daily perusal of 1971 topps for sale and came upon this guy:

Pete Rose Auction

It's stated in the adline that it's for both...even has scans of both, but reading the auction it shows that it's only for one.

Definitely a bit shady although he clearly states it's for one card at the bottom. However, a "last minute" bidder may not notice that, just figuring the auction is for the lot of two cards. Can't see any good business reason for doing this like he did?

That is very misleading. He is asking for a problem. I guess he is trying to get someone to make a private auction for the other or the pair and get out of a bunch of fees.
