This auction is a scam. The listing and photo (from a Superior auction I might add) has run under other hijacked accounts. AVOID. Ask to be pre-approved and then you will get an email after the auction is over to work something out, as in, you send money and they send you nothing.
Does anyone know off-hand if ebay (or any one else) has a way to know who's doing all of the hi jacking of accounts? I send my "bogus paypal / ebay" e-mails to the spoof addresses all of the time, but I always wonder if anyone is really looking into them ... or going after the people doing it.
Is it still that hard to catch them, or is this just another case of them not caring?
hypothtical question.........i bid and win an item from a hijacked acct. lose some serious dough......is ebay liable in anyway? i mean it is thier venue that this hijacked acct originated from.
You might think they are at least partially to blame for allowing accounts to be hijacked, but their rules (contract) pretty much allow them to wash their hands of everything. And after all, they can't be really responsible for fraud carried out by third parties or the gullibility of the victims. Of course, Paypal and credit card companies offer some protection, too.

I contacted ebay about this auction....along with a couple others! I just love those 1 day auctions for approved bidders. I hate to be a NARC but these scams have got to STOP!
I reported 4 auctions last week that I though accounts had been highjacked/stolen. Ebay emailed me back on all 4 that the accounts HAD been stolen and they had contacted the account holder and stopped the auctions.
So maybe it will save someone from geting scamed!
New to the forums, but learning stuff everyday thanks to you guys! Keep up the good work.

I think this listing is suspect. May be a hijacked account.
There are some killer football sets (62,58) that keep showing up as well under other id's that do not seem legit either.
Loves me some shiny!
Check the Superior "Spring Fling" catalogue item #233.
Does this look familiar?

Just curious
