  • How many tables will be there?
  • It will be a tiny show in an out of the way place. Lousy dealers one and all. Crappy inventory to boot. Please stay away!

Sounds like someone hates this show. Well, do you think Mid America or Long Beach is better?image

One, the ILNA show is not a tiny show and it is not out of the way. Two, Indiana State show and a lot of these commerical shows organized by Kevin Foley are around the same size. Three, the dealers are not lousy (and I am one of them). Finally, Four, there is always something to find at the show if one takes the time to look. I understand that everyone is free to speak about anything on this forum; I, like yourself, am stating an opinion, whether it is agreeable or not. And that is my two cent's worth!image

I was at the show last year and the year before... anyway, it's not as big as central states or a rosemont show, but it's worth a drive up from IN or down from WI. One of the things I really like about the show is that it mostly local dealers. If your looking for a 1993-S Morgan in MS66, you won't find it at this show! But if you like looking throw nice collector coin (lightside and darkside) then it's a nice show you can do in 1/2 day.

It isn't a major show, but larger than just a local. I think the table count is about 140 give or take. You won't find high 6 and 7 figure coins there, but it won't all be run of the mill stuff. Free parking and free admission and not far from the airports. Hope some can make it. Link

Don't do us any favors if you're only going because you have to.

This show was bad when it was in Peoria years ago. It wasn't much better while it was in Harvey, IL. New board members have done a lot to improve the location and the show. It is now a good show and has nearly outgrown the Countryside location, tables were sold out in early June. Bigger and better things are to come.
  • I would love to be there (just to get the goodies before Marty), however, I have something much more important to do:

"Coalition of Parents Unite in Nationwide Class Action Challenges for Their Children

ILLINOIS September 2, 2004 -- Representatives from across the country are announcing that on September 17, 2004, they will
simultaneously file federal class action lawsuits, on behalf of an estimated 25 million noncustodial parents, demanding that rights to
equal custody of their children be restored by the federal courts.

On Friday the 17th of Sept, 2004 if you are willing and able please join us as we demonstrate our will as a people, as fathers, mothers
    and Americans.

In Illinois: EASTERN DIVISION FEDERAL DISTRICT COURT Everett McKinley Dirksen Building 219 South Dearborn St.

I'm not a Morgan expert, but I think you would have problems finding a 1993 Morgan of any mint mark at any show!!image

  • The ILNA Fall Show is a wonderful show. Of course, I enjoy just about every coin show that I attend. We have held a table at the ILNA show for the past 6 years and have always noticed heavy bourse activity. Our table this year is the first table as you enter the bourse. Please stop by and say hello. The first person to spend $1,000,000 at our table will receive a new sports car (year and model our choice). image
