My problem is that it is a biotch to try and photo this coin. I have pm'd different ppl in the forum but this is the best I could do.

I wouldn't even bother trying to use a flash.
Try taking the photo early in the morning or right before the sunset when the light is softer.
You can make a cheap diffuser by taking a plastic milk jug and cutting it apart to use one side.
Also, if you can set the camera to determine the exposure by only utilizing the light at the very center of the frame, that should help.
Trial and error is the path to good photograpy.
Don't punch your monitor when you get frustrated.

Take the coin out of the 2x2, to begin with. This should eliminate your glare issues. Take your pictures near a window that's open Once it's light enough for you to not bother turning on the ceiling light. Do not use any other light - what comes through the window will be sufficient. Place the coin a dark blue background, such as a Whitman Album, and shoot the pictures head-on. If the image still looks yellowy, you may have to correct your white balance, which may require consulting the instruction manual.
