I just got in my first PSA graded 1952 Bowman card

Hi Guys, I just got in my first 1952 Bowman card. It's a PSA 6 Marty Marion card. I also have three others coming in a few days (all PSA 6). This issue is totally different than any other set that I have ever looked at. Both the other sets that I am working on (1953 Topps and 1956 Topps) are both much bigger and have much more detail on the back. I like the painted cards very much. I consider them to be like works of baseball art. So far I feel that the 1953 Topps painted cards are the best looking painted cards that I have ever seen but I'd like to see if the 1952 Bowman grows on me. I'm hoping to get 5-10 of the 1952 Bowman cards in so I can get a varied sampling of the cards and colors. I look forward to seeing more of them at the Fort Washington show next weekend. Neil

Like '52 Bowman, '53 Topps is just as gorgeous as the more renowned issue of the year before, and quite a lot more affordable to collect! I actually favor '53 Topps over '52 Topps for pure artistic beauty, as sacrilegious as that may seem.
