A translucent pink/blue toned Peace $ from LB

Here's something unusual for Peace $ -- translucent pink and blue toning. It has almost an "oil on water" look to it. I've seen other silvers get this, especially war Nickels, but this is only the 2nd Peace $ I've seen with this type of toning. It was tough to photograph so I did the "Jeremy trick"of 2 photos -- 1 for color and 1 for luster. Its a hard coin to capture the color on, but I think I did a decent job.

Price -- $29.

Any thoughts?

That is beautiful toning on that Peace dollar. Don't see them that nice very often.

Nice colors. That's the kind of toning I like. Very evenly distributed and light enough that it doesn't hide any of the luster.

Yeah, don't we all. Unfortunately I think its the rarest of toning on a Peace $. (Except for textile, of course)
