    I feel sorry for those people who buy this overpriced material and then expect to make a return on their investment. IMO, HSN is one of the worst things that ever happened to our hobby.

    I have always wondered what they would buy back their material for 10% less, 20% less, 60 % less? My bet is they won't even make an offer, that way they don't have to reveal their true margins over market.

    I find myself oddly fascinated with these HSN guys. They are obviously shysters, but they are quite slick about it, dont you think?

    What about those Binion Morgans and Peace Dollars that are going for $99.95 (what a bargain for a common date ms60-2 morgan)

    How about those raw $20 libs - "They grade ms60-62. How about that, only $899.95 for a GEM BU rare gold coin?" I just love how they hold the coin and touch the surfaces with their fingers!!

    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    I agree that HSN's coin show is the worst thing that could happen to our hobby. I feel for the "newbies" who pay 3 to 4 times what a coin retails for, and when they want to sell, they only get 60-80% of the retail or about 40 - 45% of what they paid. HSN's actions loose more fellow collectors than they gain for our hobby.

    coin vault makes me laugh. laughing is good for a person.
    coin vault makes my eyes roll back in my head when i hear something particularly silly. my eyes get some good exercise.
    coin vault is fun to watch when i wake up in the middle of the night.

    I bought a Morgan from HSN and it's now worth 25% more than I paid for it.
    Unfortunatly, it took 12 years for that to happen!!!!!image
