I messed up.........

I submitted a 53' Willy Mays today but I was in such a rush filling out the form and trying to get to the post office before it closed, that later I realized I forgot to put the sumnission # on the cardsaver!!!!Has this happened to anyone and what will happen?

All cards received with "no sumnission #" on the card savers are dropped into "Big Ben", a 4-quart waste basket. When walk-ins at PSA are told they can not have a tour of the company, they are given the token gift of taking a card from this basket as they exit the building.
Sorry man--but it will certainly make some lucky guy very happy in the next week or so....image
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

considering it is just one card, I think they will be able to figure it out. If it were 100 for the registry, someone might get pissed off. My understanding is that some people say they never put the sticker on the cardsaver?

To be honest, I rarely put the sticker on the card savers. If I have some handy I do it...otherwise... they go in plain. I've never had a problem in that regard. I wouldn't worry about it. They get inventoried as soon as they arrive and are put in a box with the submission number on them anyway. If you watch PSA's cute little video the submission form itself completely disappears before it hits the grading floor for anonymity sake. Don't worry about it, it'll find it's way back to you.
