I'm considering a subscription for Coin World or Coin Values...Suggestions Please

Would any members recommend either of these publications? If yes, which one would be better for a newbie that is just looking for some leisure reading? I’m looking to learn a little more about everything…if that makes sense. image

Coin World is excellent, a wide range of topics and "news". The subscription to Coin World includes Coin Values, it comes along with CW once a month.

I get both Coin World and Numismatic News, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick Coin World.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • coin world for sure, do a google search for magazie subscriptions to get the best price. Numismatic news can be gotten cheaply too.

  • Numismatic News is cheaper, and you get 52 issues, weekly so its more update than most out there. It gives you News, tips, advertising, show listings, histories, letters, and all sorts of insightful opinions and every month they put a price guide in.
