Does PCGS designate PL in AU?

I know NGC does... I was just wondering if PCGS did. I think the answer is no....

No, and I've David Hall about this. His response is that there is not enough demand to warrant it. PCGS compensates for this fact in its pl registry by allowing up to 50% of the coins to be non-pl. If I had to choose, I'd prefer that pls be graded in au. There are many tough dates that look nice and are more affordable in au, such as an `89-ss in 58pl. There is the cost issue as well; au-pls are consiberaby cheaper than their mint state counterparts.
