Anyone having eBay problems?

Specifically trying to sort the UK items by ending soonest. Everytime I try I get an 'error on page' message.

As a matter of fact the error page shows up on anything you try to sort through on ebayimage
  • I started having that problem last night.

I have items listed on eBay. If the problem isn't fixed by tomorrow I'm going to cancel the auctions. Since most bidding is done at the end, if you can't sort by ending soonest, the number of bids I receive are going to be greatly reduced.

It's working now!! ....or, maybe my SLOW dial-up allows me in! image
  • Still having problems and because of it I think I missed a couple of good itemsimage
  • This only seems to be a problem for Ebay here in the states. All the other ebay (UK, Canada, Ireland) doesn't see to be having the same sorting problem.

Anyone know how to contact eBay about this? It still isn't working for me and I don't see anything about the problem on eBay's announcements.

  • I am still having the problem too ajaan. I went to the ebay technical message board and all I found was this:

    **Issues With Browsing By Category**
    randall@ebay.com (view author's auctions)
    08/27/04 08:33 AM

We are aware that some members are experiencing intermittent errors while attempting to browse by category.

Fortunately, we quickly located the cause of the error and it is now working normally again.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for your patience.

    Regards,
    eBay

I have posted to the technical board the problem we are having which does not seem like the problem they said was fixed.

Click on the 'Time listed' (the far right column) and it will give you the listing by 'Time left'.

  • The drop down sorting menu is broken, not just on the UK items, but on all of them.

Yes, but you must do this each time you want to change your sorting. Use to be all you had to do was use the drop down boximage

  • I think they upgraded something into not working early Friday morning.
At work I get about 20 "object not found errors" using MSIE ver 5.5, with most of the sorting options not working at all.
At home I seem to only get the error where the "Ending Soonest" sort option doesn't work uing MSIE 6.x.
