I don't fool with any new releases at all, but I stumbled on this:
Ebay Auction for Rollie Fingers Yakpacks
Never heard of Rollie Fingers Yakpacks....Cards from Rollie's own vintage collection? Will there be a handlebar mustache clippings insert card?

Sounds more like "yuckpacks". Is it just me or does Rollie seem to get into some goofy business dealings? Does anyone remember when he tried to start a grading company a couple years back? Seems like there was a handlebar moustache logo on the holder and, as I recall, every card was going to be touched by Rollie himself at some point in the process! Ooooooh....

You mess with the Yak and you just might wind up with the horns!

<< <i>Yeah...it's junk...I wasn't about to touch it...Just seemed like an odd concept. Here's an article I found on 'em:

How sad for Rollie. This was probably the case of his agent being contacted for this promotion, and Rollie said "Sure, I'll give you some of my cards". Little did he probably realize that the odds of getting anything worthwhile were so overwhelmingly slim.
I had only had respect for Rollie before this, but now I question his judgement and character.
Heh, he signs through the mail for $8.
