How to best delay your grades ...

Submit your package to the U.S. Postal Service on Saturday, Aug. 28.

Have it arrive at Newport Beach post office on Saturday, Sept. 4.

Monday, Sept. 6, Labor Day.

Have your order logged into the PCGS system on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

Have graders take off for Newport Beach show Wednesday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 10.

Coins finally hit the grading pipeline on Monday, Sept. 13.

Elapsed time since mailing: 17 days ...

    My 15 day order got checked in on the 8th. I figure 15 business days minus the blackout period for the show and the invitational will mean the 8th of next month. I mailed the same time you did. It's pretty normal though. Waiting is a big part of this hobby. Waiting for the coins you need, waiting for the auction to end, waiting for the mailman, waiting for grading, waiting for ......... everything. image

    How about sending your PCGS submission to NGC and your NGC submission to PCGSimage I almost did that once.
