A New Set Is Born - Barber Dime Dansco Album

With recently switching into Economy Collector Mode... I found I needed something to satisfy my collecting appetite... well... Barber Dimes turned out to be the perfect thing! image I love the original greys of circulated silver, especially on Barbers and Busties image Well... G/VG Barber Dimes can easilly be had for just a couple bucks, and when I buy the keys and semi-keys sometime way down the road, it will make for a very nice looking matched set, and I think they greys really look good in the Dansco image I've tried my best to be really picky, and find only coins with full rims, no damage, no cleanings, no problems, but beautiful original coins... image Most of the coins so far grade G/VG, if noy F, though there is one very nice XF in there that I bought some time ago... image And the first page is still empty... image Below are Pics... Enjoy image

Gee whiz, I was going to offer to send you my first 1907 from my very first type set and you already have oneimage
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Way to go. I've been thinking of starting a new set. Unemployment has put that on hold though. I see you have a few nice coins for a start.image

Lookin' good! Don't forget to find dealers who don't know what they've got... my 1905-S is an AU... and I got it, with tax, for just over $16 a few years ago image/

At least this album doesn't put the 1894-S in there and doom you to looking at a hole in the album (or buying a counterfeit filler) in perpetuity...

Now this is a cool thread! I too am working on a Dansco for my lower grade dimes and the natural gray / darker gray toning is neat to find.
