Just got the new $20 Double Eagle book by Bowers

I ordered the book about a month and a half ago, but because of production delays, I didn't get the new Q. David Bowers book on $20 double eagles until yesterday. I have not had a chance to take a close look at it, but it looks like it is well laid out and has some color pictures. Each coin in the series is analyzed and the first part of the book gives a lot of historical background and other information (again, I have not had a chance to read it yet). As an added bonus, Q himself autographed the book becuase I bought it through ANR. Has anyone else received their copy yet?

  • No. And I was hoping to get mine before I leave for Japan on Saturday. Hope it comes tomorrow or Friday. How was it delivered, USPS or what?

I didn't look that closely, but I think my wife said UPS. It might have been USPS, though. I know that it got delivered to the door so it might have been UPS.

I got my copy yesterday, too! (along with Brian Greer's Seated dime book)

Mine came from Brooklyn Gallery, so perhaps they've been distributed by the publisher by now.
